Optimaler Schutz während der Ruhepause
Stallgamaschen sind einfach und schnell am Pferdebein anzulegen und bieten einen idealen Schutz vor Stößen und Schlägen. Bei diesen, eher langen Gamaschen ist es wichtig, dass sie speziell an den Sprunggelenken perfekt anliegen. Damit die Länge der Gamaschen stimmt, solltest Du die Beinlängen Deines Pferdes vorher abmessen. Stallgamaschen liegen zwar enger am Pferdebein an, engen diese aber nicht ein. Der Lymphfluss wird durch sie nicht beeinträchtigt.
Angenehmer Tragekomfort
Entscheidend für den Tragekomfort ist die Passform: Klettverschlüsse und elastische Einsätze im Bereich der großen Gelenke helfen, dass sich das Pferd in seiner Bewegungsfreiheit nicht eingeengt fühlt. Für noch mehr Tragekomfort werden Stallgamaschen häufig mit weichen Bandagierunterlagen kombiniert. Andere weisen ein weiches Innenfutter auf.
Strapazierfähig und dennoch atmungsaktiv
Stallgamaschen sollten optimalerweise aus festen, strapazierfähigen wie auch atmungsaktiven Materialien bestehen. Einen besonderen Einsatzzweck finden Stallgamaschen zur Unterstützung von Wärmetherapien bei erkrankten Pferden z.b. mit Arthrose oder anderen Gelenkserkrankungen.
